Hi Friends...
Visiting my local thrift store I found this flash drive holder. $1.50. To my surprise, there were two 4 GB drives in it. (Both empty) What a steal!
A few Sunday's ago...I was looking at my favorite Target add (a ritual for me) and saw this cute "sampler" for sale. Decided I could easily copy it. Got the frame at Goodwill for $1.50 and had the stickers at home. I like the idea of using RED for the contrast instead of blue, red and yellow like the sample. Easy!
Today my 28 year old daughter is coming home after being gone nearly 3 months in Dallas, TX (for work). I can't wait to see her sweet face. I have missed her so much! Yay!
Here is a picture of my daughter's car. My husband put a new top on it while she was gone. Her back window had gotten cloudy from years of sun. Whenever she travels we keep her car so that we can drive it and keep the battery charged. He did a great job. I know she will be thrilled.
Anybody watching IDOL? Ha! I am sure most people (other than my husband) do! Lauren is my favorite. I think she has such a beautiful voice. I also really like James. I think he has a great chance of winning. I will go out on a limb and predict that it will be Lauren, James and Scotty in the final three.
In about 2 wks. I will be visiting my sister in Vegas with 2 other good friends. We have a "Scrapbooking Weekend" planned but it's so much more than that. We have so much fun! I really look forward to our time together. Vegas area has fabulous thrift stores. A definite must on our list! Goodwill and Savers are two of our favorites.
